Presenting Video Game Summit Game Con Custom 3D Printed Logo Signs

One of the things that I love doing is attending different video game conventions. Not only do I love going to conventions but I also love being able to help out the organizers or otherwise support the events. I've wanted to get to Video Games Summit for several years, and in 2023 I finally had the opportunity to do so. Not only was I able to attend, but I also was able to present them with something unique and special that I designed and created for them.

As I've shared for some time, I have actually been designing and printing LED light boxes with my 3D printers. I was able to utilize the video game Summit logo, edit one of the existing templates that I have for my 3D printed light boxes, and design a few different light boxes for them to have on display at different events. This is one of those things that was also made possible by the fact that I just recently bought a bamboo Labs P1P printer, which allows me to go ahead and print multi colors at the same time and not have to manually change the colors.

I was able to go ahead and attend the event thanks to Todd Friedman, the organizer of the event. I've known Todd for quite some time, and run into him at several different conventions from Midwest Gaming Classic, Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and most recently the Illinois Game Con. Todd does so very much for the modern and retro Video Gaming Community, not only with this event but also just in general that I wanted to make sure that he knew how much the community appreciated all of his efforts. The light box itself took me about 2 hours to design and get rolling, and then it took about 4 hours total per box to print.

If you host or are a participant in a modern retro video game convention, make sure you reach out to me. I would love to go ahead and design something with your logo that you can go ahead and display for the people who come and visit your event. I would also like to go ahead and be able to design things that you can give out to people who sign up for VIP or Early Access as well.
