Welcome to Day 186, July 5th, 2023. We read Joash king of Judah reigns and sets out to rebuild the Lord's house. Prophet Elisha dies. Joash deals harshly with the prophet who had spoken against him and Judah, strikes him, and thus himself is murdered. His son Amaziah reigns after him. Kings of Israel, Jehoahaz and Jehoash reign, and Israel recaptures cities from Syria.
