Isaiah 38: 1 -22 The repentance of the king of Judah The king of Judah

Hezekiah on his death bed received a message from the prophet Isaiah by God that he will die. Hezekiah cried out to God to spare him and mentioned his good deeds to God and felt sorrow in his soul. Through acknowledging his fault to the Lord and crying out, God extended his years 15 more years. Turning away from evil, ownership of errors, and submitting to God's authority and asking for forgiveness can extend ones life if, He so wills it. As poor of a leader he was, God showed mercy on Hezekiah.
