IS MODERN MEDICINE BIBLICAL? / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: I suffer from severe depression and anxiety disorder. As is stereotypical, I am on a large amount of medication. It has taken many years for that medication regiment to get worked out to where it is most effective. But, in the process, I was told by several Christians that if I had enough faith I would not need to take all that medication. I disagree, as I believe doctors were put on this planet by God as well. Their purpose is to heal Christians and non-christians alike. We all suffer from various problems, and we all need healing. Depression is just another problem like so many other problems. My question is: what is your opinion on having to take medication? I know how I am without medication, and I also know how I am on proper medication, and I function far better with the medication than I do without it.
