According a to an article by Game Rant, Bungie is currently working on a new IP known as Matter, but according to an evaluation, the new IP could be launching in 2025. They have been working on it for a while. This also comes on the heels of what was news where Microsoft was attempting to acquire Bungie and SEGA in 2020, but Bungie decided to go with Sony
