Did UFO Land in Las Vegas Backyard or is it a PSYOP?

The UFO community has experienced an interesting year with a report of a UFO crash in a backyard in Las Vegas as well as a government official coming out and stating that the US is harboring alien craft.

UFO whistle blower David Grusch, a former intelligence official who led analysis of unexplained anomalous phenomena (UAP) within a US Department of Defense agency, caused headlines around the world with his assertion that the US had been collecting non-human craft for decades.

After the allegations were made by David Grusch, Las Vegas police officers investigated reports of non-human beings in the backyard of a Las Vegas family who contacted 911 on April 30, saying that there were '10 foot aliens' in their backyard and that they had seen an object fall from the sky.

Could the Las Vegas backyard alien sighting be some sort of PSYOP to take the spotlight off of David Grusch's claims?
