Finally got a phone contact on the VHF Contest this weekend. 200 miles to Jacksonville, 13 element cushcraft yagi at 18 feet in the driveway. Running about 60 watts with the Chinese RM amplifier. Many times in the past I have worked into Texas, Georgia and the Carolinas on 2 meter SSB.
