The "Sons of God" are NOT Angels or Spirit Beings. Humans are *Meant to be

The Evangelical Church in America has seen a revival of an ancient error. That is that Angels or other Spirit Beings were also "Sons of God". The New Testament contradicts this doctrine, which is based on a misunderstand of Job that has been leveraged into other scriptures. Certain pagan ideas about the nature of the Divine worked their way into Judaism, and recently some of these mistaken ideas have been dusted off and plugged into the church.

God has one unique Son. The Way to the Father is through Him. We become sons in Him.

This did not make it in the video but I would add that Deut. 32:43 is different in the Septuagint than in the Masoretic Text. It is clear in the Septuagint that angels are different from His sons, whose blood can be shed.

"43Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people."
