Congolese men are risking their lives that we can have mobile phones and laptops.

They mine coltan, a mineral that is used to make electronic devices. There aren't any observed safety measures taken during the mining process. The workers make use of artisanal methods, just like their forefathers, using a shovel and a pickaxe as digging tools.
