Biden and McCarthy scramble to secure votes as debt deadline looms

President Joe Biden and Congressman and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy are racing to shore up enough congressional votes to pass the bill they negotiated, through Congress. The predicted June 5 deadline for the nation to default on its debts is quickly approaching but opposition to the deal is building from members in both parties who aren't happy with the compromise.
