Residents of Khartoum are concerned about the current sanitary situation as trash piles up on the capital’s streets due to Sudan’s armed conflict. Waste transport vehicles face difficulties getting to various sites in the city, and there’s a lack of fuel. Trash dumps all over the city are now filled with garbage, which has many citizens worried about the possible spread of diseases.
