Winter Solstice Half Marathon Trail Race

Somehow I survived my first ever half marathon on some very challenging terrain. This was held at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs Ohio and much of the course went through the beautiful yet challenging hiking trails of the state park and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. This race was hosted by the Ohio River Road Runners Club. I placed 154th out of 279 runners and was 14th in my age group (45-49).
