Charles Stanley Grandson Matthew Did This a Week After His Grandfathers Death. His grandson Matthew sold his grandfathers stuff on ebay a week after his death. These were items from his grandfathers office that were given to him. This is also Charles Stanley grandson on drugs. But now he is sober but in a bad place financially. Hundreds of comments poured in to let Matt know his actions were terrible. So he did apologize but wouldn't take the stuff off eBay. His famous uncle Andy Stanley called him to communicate how upset he was and he should take the stuff off eBay immediately. I do not want to bash Matthew since he clearly has mental health issues. I think we should pray for him. But this goes to show the place we are in society. It also shows the discipleship problem the church has. If the great preacher Charles Stanley's grandson could end up like this - It can happen to any of us. We need to put an emphasis on discipleship in the church to make sure no one falls through the cracks. We can have a church with 40,000 people but what good would it matter if we loose our family!
