🇮🇹 Rally in honor of the liberation of Italy from fascism

Rallies were held in major cities of Italy in honor of the liberation of the country from fascism. Local public organizations and political parties honored the memory of their ancestors who participated in the guerrilla underground.

During a peaceful march of anti-fascist forces in Turin, opponents of the North Atlantic Alliance clashed with demonstrators waving NATO and Ukrainian flags.

To prevent riots, law enforcement officers used brute force: at least two people were injured.

In Rome and Milan, the actions in the central squares of the city were held without a clash with police officers. In Milan, the event was attended by Mayor Giuseppe Sala and Secretary of the Democratic Party of Italy Ellie Schlein.
