In this episode we'll be talking with Professor Mike Hummel (see bio below) on Policing in America. We'll discuss the current state of affairs, how we got here, what needs to change, and how we do that.

I would especially like to see and hear the input/perspective of other LE professionals.

If you know anything about us, Paramount is dedicated to supporting LE but I do think that many cultural and systemic reforms are needed to gain trust between citizens and LE.

As I see it, "Protecting and Defending" the public includes protecting and defending ever person's constitutional rights. This needs to be the cornerstone of policing and law enforcement.

What we should not and cannot tolerate is tyrants with badges and guns abusing people or violating their constitutional rights because they believe they are above the law.

This is an important discussion that needs to be had. We invite and welcome everyone with an opinion and look forward to a vigorous debate, but we will not allow disrespectful or inappropriate comments.
