Companies like Strike 3 Holdings and Malibu Media catch you torrenting copyright material (Video games, Movies, Books, Software, Ect.) and pursue infringement actions by sending a letter to your ISP (Cox, Comcast, Verizon, AT&T) of notice of infringement. People use The Pirate Bay and UTorrent to download content that is not Public Domain. They Seed but do not Leech, and do not use a VPN or Proxy while Uploading much more than they download.
