COOKING LUNCH IN CAST IRON, OUTDOORS ON A HOBO STOVE

I needed some time in the #outdoors today so I packed up a few things, grabbed Byla and off we went to do some #outdoorcooking and enjoy a happy day and a good little lunch at our camp.

At first I thought I’d do some cooking on a campfire but I decided to bring my diy hobo stove instead. I also packed up one of my small cast iron pans for #castironwednesday

Grabbed a can of beans, Danish Vienna sausages, and some hot chocolate. Off we went!

I chose to only bring my ferro rod. Usually I’d bring my tinder pouch as well but it’s been very wet for the last week with heavy rain yesterday so I decided to test myself and scavenge for dry tinder.
