Censorship and cancel-culture are becoming and epidemic in the west and if it doesn't stop soon we're heading towards a 1984 draconian future. Furthermore, cancel culture affects not only companies who explicitly discuss controversial topics but any business which might come even close to doing so – all it takes is one misinterpreted tweet or post from an employee (or even an individual associated with the company) and suddenly they are exposed to persecution at the hands of keyboard warriors ready to pounce at any sign of perceived incorrectness.
