Womens Weekend Crafting & YouTube Meet Up Went Well

The ladies spent a day crafting while I worked on my computer. Melanie and I went to Saginaw Michigan for a Meet up with our viewers from the area.

Saturday morning was full out crafting for the ladies. Melanie and my Mom started out making greeting cards. My Mom has all the equipment and supplies needed to make cards of all types. Melanie actually did not sleep the night before due to excitement for the upcoming craft day.

Melanie made a lot of cards on her own this day. She picked up the skills well and wants to start making her own cards.

Later my sister came over to join in the crafting for the day while I remained in my room working on the computer.

I varnished The Off Grid Project coffee coasters that Melanie had wood burnt. They are looking very nice now. We plan to sell recycled pallet wood coffee coasters for $2.50 each which puts them at 4 for $10. This is a good average price for a set of coasters I think.

We are using only clean heat treated pallet wood that was used a single time to transport power equipment to a local shop.

Sunday my family joined Melanie and I at the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw, MI for a meet up. We left it open for anyone in the area to come out and meet with us. There was a small group which was perfect for us. Everyone had a great time talking with one another. My family got involved in the conversation as well. The talks eventually turned to my time growing up and that was met with lots of laughter.
