Modern Myth - WMDs

Something a bit new, here I am talking about a modern story being told in real time which represent the difference between fiction and truth. With the contrast of history and the availability of information on the past we can contextualize what happened.
Here I go through WMDs - weapons of mass destruction and how that narrative changed over time, justifications for the war, mistakes that were made and how Iraq was not a great place before hand. Understanding the roles of George W. Bush, the advisors, the military, the United Nations, the security council and the members of the UN. What was the role of the media in all of this? Why does this matter? What is a modern myth? How does myth work? What about terrorism? Was the CIA lying? What about France, the U.K. and others? What is the role of China and Russia back then?
The contrast of history and the availability of large amounts of data to verify or refute what happened gives us insight into what is going on today in places like Ukraine.
