Sen Lindsey Graham Explains Why He Has Signed On To The Investigation Of AT&T's DIRECTV
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham recently joined Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Tom Cotton in signing a letter to AT&T's DIRECTV unit seeking information that would enable an investigation into the de-platforming of One America News and Newsmax. The letter calls for greater transparency and an explanation of the reasons behind the de-platforming of these two news networks. Senator Graham believes that this de-platforming is a form of censorship and an unacceptable violation of these two news networks' freedom of speech.
Senator Graham is hopeful that the information requested in the letter will allow for a full investigation into the matter. He is committed to upholding the first amendment and defending citizens' right to access news and information without interference from corporate entities. Senator Graham and his colleagues hope to ensure that the public's access to alternative news sources is protected and respected.
