'Contradictions' in China balloon incident: analyst

Beijing and and Washington are expected to de-escalate the diplomatic fury over the suspected Chinese spy balloon incident. But Drew Thompson, an analyst and visiting senior research fellow at the National University of Singapore, says there are "contradictions" in China's diplomatic efforts that will need to be resolved first.
