That Bad Ass Brass Ludwig Snare

This particular snare drum is made of brass with a chrome mirror polish that has become a favorite when recording .Classic Ludwig sound that has almost a breathy over tone that I like. I just happen to come across it at Sam Ash on 48 street in Manhattan just before they closed their doors at a drum blow out sale . It was my last purchase in what was known as "The music district" in NYC.
