Metric: another worldwide system that nobody wanted, needed, nor asked for!

Metric is a weird system that isn't welcome in my opinion. I don't care for metric distances, metric volume, metric area, metric time, or even metric temperature. Also, just think about this: if the French hadn't messed up and gotten the inch too big, metric may well never have even happened; especially as it is.

I also think it's hilarious that the metric loyalists rely on a system that was invented by people that actually say for 97 (translated) "four twenties, ten and seven" (French, yes really) instead of "nine tens and seven" (English), or "seven and nine tens" (German).
