Overview and field strip/disassembly of a copy of the iconic MAC-10 Machine Pistol.
Used by Military and Law Enforcement, for a compact mass causality causing weapon. Adapted by Hollywood in the 70's and 80's for just about every action movie.
Made/designed in 1964 by Gordon Ingram as the M-10, (model 10) used in Vietnam by MACV-SOG, still in inventory of Military and Law Enforcement units. Later called MAC-10, as the main manufacturer was Military Armament Corporation M.A.C.
Very simple and reliable pistol, used .45 cal M3 grease gun magazines. High rate of fire 1100-1500 rounds per min. .45 ACP is generally sub sonic ammo, great for suppressor use (the bolt makes more noise than the round when suppressed).
No practical use, other than to shoot up ammo.
MAC-10 made in .45, later 9MM.
MAC-11 was made later, lighter and smaller for .380, and later 9mm.
