Making an Aluminum Statue - Metal Moai Statue (Metal Casting)

In today's video, I'll be making an aluminum statue. The Moai Statue! Not exactly the moai statue from treasure island, but similar. I found a 3d image of the statue from thingiverse.com designed by Drathus. The link will be listed below. I sliced the 3d image into layers so that I could cut them out individually with my CNC machine. Once they were cut out I then numbered them, in order and stacked them, gluing each piece. Once glued I then coated it in a mixture of wall plaster and water. This is the same technique as all my lost foam casting metal casts.
