Who says New Year’s resolutions have to be boring? Over 200,000 people @ #Prayagraj decide to kick off the year by standing in freezing water, lighting candles, and blowing them into a river while wearing traditional dress. And if that wasn’t enough, they have 44 more days to do it all over again, all in the name of cleansing themselves of sin and atoning for their past mistakes at the annual Magh Mela bathings. Sounds like a great way to start the year, right?
