In this video, I accuracy test a dedicated .22 LR upper at 50 and 100 yards using a variety of ammo types. The barrel is a CMMG .22LR 1:16 twist 16” barrel, properly torqued into a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with a 15” handguard. A Harris bipod provides support along with a rear bag, and a Geissele SSA-E trigger provides a crisp 2-stage target pull for maximum consistency. We also test a conventional CMMG conversion kit in a 16” 1:8 twist 5.56 upper, to show an accuracy comparison as well. Please refer to the video link below for more info on the rifle build itself.
