As an investor, it's important to understand the concept of passive income and how it can benefit you. Passive income is defined as income received on a regular basis with little or no effort required to maintain it. This type of income is in contrast to active income, which is earned through direct participation in a business or other venture.

Unfortunately, many investors confuse active income with passive income and assume that building a business will allow them to achieve passive income. However, building and running a business is a lot of work and requires a significant time and effort investment. While it may provide financial returns in the long term, it is not a true form of passive income.

So, what are some good examples of passive income? Corporate income bonds, like those offered by Andesite Blue, Ltd or Alamo Mortgage Holdings, Ltd, might be worth considering. These types of bonds provide a steady stream of income to the investor without requiring any active participation in the company. Another option is being a limited partner in a multifamily community, where the general partner handles all of the day-to-day management and maintenance tasks, allowing the limited partner to enjoy passive income from the investment.
