Box Office Break-Down: Fantastic Beasts 3 Takes First! Sonic 2 Breaks Even In ONLY 2 Weekends!

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore wins the weekend with a $43M DOM weekend, bringing its WW total to $193M, good enough for 7th place in 2022. But it underperformed mightily, putting its 4th and 5th films' futures in jeopardy. Sonic The Hedgehog 2, however, raked in $30M for its second weekend box office, bringing its total to $231M WW and putting it in the black in only its second weekend.
