Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com reintroduces whole Bible Christianity. It has always been around. It's just that the church has obscured the Bible teachings of it and by and large led people away.

You say you hate religion but love Jesus? Good. So do we. However, what do you mean by "religion?" If you mean men's rules, liturgy, philosophy, and opinions, then we're right there with you. Men's rules are not really that helpful in producing the fruit of the Spirit. God's rules, on the other hand, are nothing but helpful.

Bruce shares his idea for the reintroduction of whole Bible Christianity. It was lived out by the first century church. It encompasses all of the Bible as a lifestyle and discipleship method unequaled by men's philosophy, empty deceit, and tradition (see Colossians 2). It is the heart of the New Covenant, it's all about love, and it is the believer's daily bread.

A. W. Tozer said, "The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favorite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian."

The whole Bible is where it's at. If you read the New Testament carefully, this is what the first century believers were doing (including making offerings at the Temple Acts 8:27; 21:26). Those believers did not think the Law nullified the work of Jesus on the cross, but that the cross and His Law complement each other. He is the end or goal of the Law. His death paid the penalty for disobedience of the Law. He gives us the Spirit and a new heart of flesh with His Law or Word written on it. It's His Word we're living, after all. This puts a much different light on the meaning of whole Bible.
