Lowest Hanging Fruit // How to Break a Plateau

When you start working out you'll find you get huge results quickly and you really don't have to go crazy with effort.

Simple changes to your routine usually result in some big changes really quickly.

As you progress through a few months you'll find that the results slow down and if you want to keep pace on weight loss or muscle gain you will need to start pushing to get an extra 1% every day.

When you are picking the lowest hanging fruit you don't need to do much work to snag it but the higher you go the harder you have to work to get the fruit. This means if you set a target of losing 30lbs the first 20 may come off relatively quickly and maybe even easily but as you get to the last few pounds you'll need to start using more tools to finish through the finish line.

At this point is when people usually get very frustrated and either give up or look to bring a coach into the picture to help out break through the plateau.
