"There were lots of individual lawsuits. And people tried to take down Big Tobacco, but they all got dismissed. States attorneys generals can get discovery — and this is how big tobacco was finally taken down," explained Dowd.

"I think Ron DeSantis is brave, and I think we need to see other attorney generals across the nation follow suit and overwhelm them with discovery."
