14. One of the largest, best known and most often cited veterinary cancer registries is the California Animal Neoplasm Registry (CANR). 15. One study used a database with nearly 20 years of data to attempt to make some assessment of trends over time (See charts). Six thousand seven hundred and forty-three tumor biopsy specimens were received from local veterinarians in the Municipality of Genoa between 1985 and 2002.
