We confess our love to Sayori, officially making us a couple. Then we proceed to immediately almost cheat on her with Natsuki while baking cupcakes.

Despite all of that, Sayori ends her own life in the same way as previously. Confessing our love didn't save her. That marks the end of act 1, and now we get to go through act 2 again.
