Director of the UK National Space Centre, Anu Ojha, attributes claims the Lunar landings were hoaxed to a ‘seductive conspiratorial method of thinking’, which he asserts poses ‘a real threat to our democratic way of life’. Is he right, or should we be cynical when a vast imperial machine, high on violence and fueled by propaganda, claims to have sent men to the Moon and back?
