Solar Power your Portable Ham Radio | Field Test

Portable ham radio station solar powered, with a small pocket-sized solar generator.

Hello Operators.
Today we are out field testing the off-grid, pocket-sized solar power go kit for portable ham radio. The kit includes a PowerFilm 60 watt folding panel and 2.5ah LiFePO4 battery pack with an integrated Genasun charge controller. In this video we show you the capabilities of the pocket solar generator powering the Icom IC705 qrp radio and PA500 amplifier for off grid communications.
