The Lazy Christian

We all know lazy people that just drive us crazy. Maybe you are lazy. We all have times when we just want to be lazy. But that’s okay to get a way and be lazy for awhile and be refreshed. But to have a reputation of being lazy is about the worst reputation to have. And a lot of people are that way. You ought to have to best looking yard in the neighborhood. Your home should reflect your diligence and being a hard working person. And being a lazy preacher and Bible teacher and a lazy Christian is really bad. I know we can’t do some things and we may not be able to do certain things anymore. But you can do what you can. Mary anointed Jesus before His crucifixion. She did what she could. Mark 14:8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. She couldn’t preach, she couldn’t teach, be an apostle, heal the sick, raise the dead, but she could anoint Jesus. And we remember her today and forever! Laziness is a bane on any society. Laziness is in abundance in our churches among pastors, teaches and congregations. Laziness is defined as not doing anything productive, useful or beneficial for ourselves or for others. Sounds like our government doesn’t it?
