One died, more than 30 injured following explosion at Yerevan's Surmalu market in Armenia

One person died and 34 were injured, at the time of this post, following an explosion at the Surmalu market in Yerevan on Sunday, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to the preliminary data of the ministry, there was an explosion resulting in fire.

Fifty rescuers and 155 firefighters are involved in extinguishing the fire.
