Bullets & Bombs Didn't Stop This (Holey) Church

A festive service was held today in the Holy Iveron Monastery, destroyed due to hostilities, near Donetsk Airport. It was dedicated to the day of the miraculous Iveron Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Holy Iversky Convent was built in Donetsk in 2001. Located in the north of the front-line Kiev region, 500 meters from Donetsk Airport. In the fall of 2014, the monastery was severely damaged by shelling of the Ukraine Armed Forces, which used both conventional and incendiary ammunition.
