Congressman Lee Zeldin Assaulted Onstage by Knife Wielding Attacker

While giving a campaign speech running for governor of the State of New York, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R - NY) was "allegedly" assaulted by a knife-wielding attacker. Identified as David G. Jakubonis, age 43, of Fairport, New York he was arraigned in court for felony 2nd degree attempted assault. Incredibly the criminal was released on his own recognizance without bail.
