LOVE IS PATIENT AND KIND! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | 1 Corinthians 13:4 With Commentary!

Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:4, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”

First Corinthians chapter 13 is about the excellence of love. The love Paul is describing here is the same unconditional love that God has for us. In verse 4, we see two things that love is and two things that love isn't. The word for patience used means far from anger. Kindness includes compassion and forgiveness, and we must remember that we forgive those who offend or anger us just the same as Christ did for us. What love does not do is take advantage at another person's expense, elevate itself above others, or seek to be admired by others.

Number 5 - Scripture is God's wisdom to help us live more productive lives as we fulfill our purpose for His kingdom.
