"Mr. Microphone" Legacy | Supreme FM Wireless Microphone Unboxing and Review

Mr Microphone by Ronco was the first mass marketed microphone with a built-in FM transmitter in the 1970s. Eventually those patents expired, opening the door for others the create products using the same technology.

In this video, I discuss the original Mr Microphone, talk about the Simpson's Episode "Radio Bart" that satirized this type of product, and try out the Supreme FM Wireless Microphone that lets you transmit your voice through any FM radio. It is portable & Cordness and comes with a foam windscreen.

The performance of the Supreme FM Wireless Microphone does not necessarily reflect on the quality of the Ronco Mr. Microphone (Mister Microphone).

*This microphone is for use with FM radio only and will not work on the AM band.
*The tuning range of your FM radio is 100 on the FM dial.
*When using the microphone, hold the microphone 2 inches from your mouth and speak in a normal voice.
*The reception of the microphone may be affected by the environment i.e. metal structure or the movement of people between the microphone and the radio. The reception is also affected by the condition of the microphone and/or radio batteries.
*If the microphone is not to be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the set.
For best results, the manufacturer recommends the use of alkaline batteries.
*To prevent damage, do not expose the set to rain or moisture.
