"I believe that a stronger, brighter future for Nevada is possible… and it starts with each and every one of us."

As a 25-year resident of Nevada’s Assembly District 16, I’ve witnessed a lot of change over the years--a thriving, bustling tourism industry with lots of new development and an ever-evolving hospitality mecca attracting millions annually... a devastating recession that rattled the economy and multiplied the number of people living on the streets... an ever-growing appreciation for our state’s stunning landscapes and the willingness to stand up for the land that belongs to all of us… and a city coming together in the face of mass tragedy, bringing hope and healing - neighbors helping neighbors, again and again.

I know the following to be true: Change starts with each and every one of us, and we are at our strongest when we are united together. My diverse background as a union trade-show and conventions worker with I.A.T.S.E. Local 720 Stagehands, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, a licensed Realtor, a small business owner, a social justice activist, and an advocate for societies most vulnerable has given me a lot of perspective on the needs of my neighbors, and a vision for what a stronger Nevada would look like.

Our Former Assemblywoman Heidi Swank has worked hard in the state legislature to bring great progress to our state, representing the needs of not only her constituents in District 16 but the people of Nevada. She’s done an amazing job, and I am prepared, tested and ready-with a proven record of Speaking Truth to Power- to continue her legacy of Progressive Democratic Policies, while bringing my own fresh perspective, vibrant energy, and life experience to the position of representing our district.

I believe that progress is always possible. I witnessed it first-hand growing up, as my late-mother, Gail Sacco, worked tirelessly my entire life as an advocate for the houseless, always willing to help our community’s most vulnerable individuals. If I didn’t continue her work to help others, it would be a disservice to her legacy. She improved countless lives through her willingness to serve and I’m blessed to have been able to assist her in those efforts. I have made it my life mission to continue her passionate work.
