MLB Imperia Islero Gordo Cigar Review - This 6x60 maduro stick features a rock hard pack, oily satin feel, large double cap and pungent damp, sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw using a punch, with decent smoke output and mild-medium flavors of a slight vegetal taste with a light coffee and cocoa peeking through with a hint of pepper on the finish. The first third stays on the mild side but flavors shift to a cinnamon, musty coffee and cocoa all sticking through the growing finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes holding the same notes with the body up to medium-full and a spice joining in the slick finish. Ending at 1:40 the last third dropped the cinnamon going to a deep earth and slight coffee also dropping the pepper and spice on the finish.
