Isn’t lovely that Americans are able to disagree with Trump because we live in America, a country in which our founding fathers escaped tyranny, came to America, could have become tyrants themselves but chose to write the greatest political document ever written. Americans are able to criticize Trump for not enforcing a mask mandate because they quite possibly have never lived under the rule of a tyrant or dictator. Americans are lucky to be born here in the United States. Though it’s unfortunate so many Americans wish to live under a tyrannical government instead. That is the mere point, Trump refused to enforce a tyrannical mask mandate because he acknowledges the value of our God given inalienable constitutional rights.

If it was the other way around, he would be labeled a tyrant, demanding Americans be policed and fined for essentially "not obeying" the "carefully chosen" professionals and their demands regarding Covid19. All while purposely ignoring alternative perspectives of those whom are just as qualified. That would be a Tyrant. Trump has respect for the American people and trust them to make their own independent decisions. Trump has respect for diverse knowledge and expertise. America is well respected for its innovating research and development in all aspects of life. This includes ongoing discoveries and knowledge regarding Covid19. Trump never demanded that all Americans *listen and obey* just a handful of "experts" or they face fines and even jail time.

There is NOT just ONE correct answer. This would leave NO room for growth here in America. Trump knows a one size fits all narrative is illogical, regressive, dangerous. Trump could have abused his power during a time in which many Americans were jaded with fear and quickly willing to give up their constitutional rights. In this moment, Trump made a historic decision to not only refrain from enforcing draconian mandates but to also respect and PROTECT the meaning of Americans inalienable God given constitutional rights.
