Here are 5 EASY things to STRETCH your gas mileage. Fuel prices seem to be increasing daily. With that thought in mind, we need to get the most for our gallon that we can. One of the things you can do at no cost to you is tighten down your fuel cap. And that may not make any sense to you, but if you don’t hear this noise, you’re evaporating some of your gas, because last year 147 million gallons of gas evaporated because gas caps were missing or were the wrong ones or just weren’t tightened down.
