Archive! Basic Boffer Combat

Shadus and Harkael, with some help from Dreanna, clown around and manage to get a few “Basic fighting rules and techniques” recorded, with a few tricks to get you started in boffer sports and LARPs like Belegarth, Dagorhir, or Amtgard.

The video is dated, and boffer combat is an evolving art, but this still shows some basics that may still be useful.

This was a tutorial and recruitment video for a student organization at Central Missouri State University (CMSU) nka the University of Central Missouri (UCM).
It was aired on the student run local cable TV network circa 2005-06. It, and others like it, helped increase recruitment well over 2000% in one semester alone!

This was a great group of geeks that we miss and wish the best!
