Captain Sheridan, in charge of the titular space station, is joined by Lieutenant Commander Susan Ivanova, Security Chief Michael Garibaldi, Dr. Stephen Franklin, and others as he tries to keep the peace between the different species on board and protect the residents from external threats. War has broken out between between the Centauri and Narn, a mysterious faction is manipulating events, and the Earth Alliance is heading toward concerning territory, leading Sheridan into a "conspiracy of light."
