There's been a 'key moment' in US-Australia alliance

Annelise Nielsen says there has been a "key moment in the alliance" between the United States and Australia.
It comes after the US Senate voted to confirm Caroline Kennedy as the next American Ambassador to Australia.
Ms Nielsen discussed the event with Sky News Australia.
"It means we're one step closer to having a US ambassador in Australia after a very long break," Ms Nielsen said.
"This is a key moment in the alliance, especially with the AUKUS deal being negotiated as well as the elevation of the Quad."
